Munich scriptwriting workshop
Works in conjunction with the Munich Academy for Television and Film. The workshop teaches scriptwriting and film language (along with production and media law) with the goal of helping students develop a script of their own. Applicants should be at least 25 years old, but no older than 40, and should come from German-speaking countries. The website (in German) includes a "genre guide" with samples.

Internationale Filmschule Köln (Cologne International Film School)
Funded by the North-Rhine Westphalia Film Foundation, the school has been engaged in its mission to train "top professionals" since 2000. It offers a filmmaking programme: script, directing, creative production and sound design. Degree: Bachelor of Arts. Nipkow Programm
Grants fellowships to European media professionals (features and documentaries, shorts, animation, digital production). It was set up in 1991 in order to "encourage cooperation and co-productions and foster contacts and the exchange of ideas among film and television professionals all over Europe."
