Biography of Henning Wagenbreth

Henning Wagenbreth
  • born in Eberswalde in 1962
  • 1982–87, studied Graphic Design at Kunsthochschule Berlin
  • 1992–93, freelance illustrator in Berlin
  • 1993–94, one-year stay in Paris, funded by Deutsch-Französisches Jugendwerk
  • 1993–94, teaching post in Illustration at Kunsthochschule Berlin
  • since 1994, chair in Visual Communication, Universität der Künste Berlin
  • 2000, seven months’ study trip to San Francisco
  • since 2002, member of Alliance Graphique International
  • individual and group exhibitions, including Berlin, Paris, Brussels, Hanover, Tel Aviv, New York, Lisbon
