Comic Salon Erlangen Expects 400 Artists

The International Comic Salon Erlangen, from 7. to 10. June, is expecting over 400 artists. The festival is the largest and most important festival for graphic literature in the German-language cultural area. The Erlangen Art Museum (Kunstmuseum Erlangen) is showing an exhibition with German and Swiss comic artists. In the Erlangen City Hall (Rathaus), current newspaper strips, cartoons and comics from the Germany are being presented. And the Goethe-Institut is also represented with an exhibition: comic projects from Moscow, Cairo and Jakarta can be seen in the Siemens A.G.’s main administration building.
And once again, a German-French seminar for comic artists is being offered, children and young people will find what they are looking for at a “Family Sunday,” and school children have designed a comic promenade through the city.
