- 1990–96, studied art at the Kunstakademie Münster
- 1993–99, studied Visual Communication at the Fachhochschule Münster, diploma in Graphic Design
- 1999/2000, funding from the Dr. Bamberger-Haus and Jewish Museum in Rendsburg
- since 2000, living in Berlin
- 2001/2002, training in Multimedia Design at cimdata.de, Berlin
- freelance work as comic artist and illustrator
- since 2002, member of the ‘Zweiter Gang’ network, Berlin
- since 2002, comic workshops for young people (for the worker’s welfare association, the Protestant church, Comicbibliothek and others)
