Biography Nicolas Mahler
- Born in Vienna in 1969
- 2003, founded the ‘Kabinett für Wort und Bild’ (‘Cabinet of Word and Image’) with Rudi Klein and Heinz Wolf in Vienna’s museum quarter
- Work for Austrian, German and Swiss newspapers and magazines including the satiric magazine Titanic and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, as well as non-fiction illustration
- Comics adapted as radio plays, puppet shows and cartoons; many works translated into other languages
