Zoran Drvenkar

Zoran Drvenkar was born in Križevci, Croatia, in 1967 and moved with his family in 1970 to Berlin, where he grew up. After leaving secondary school before graduating, he began to write novels, poems, plays and short stories. In 1989 he received his first endowment from the Berlin Senate. Since then he has worked exclusively as a writer.
His books for children and teens have won numerous endowments and awards.
Zoran Drvenkar now lives in Potsdam.
