Alexa Hennig von Lange

Alexa Hennig von Lange was born in Hanover in 1973. She began writing as a child and at 13 won a competition for "children's writing written by children" sponsored by the North German Public Broadcasting Corporation. In 1995 she moved to Munich and hosted the TV show BimBamBino. During that time she wrote her first novel, Relax, which established her reputation as a writer.
In addition to novels for children and young adults, she has published short stories and written plays and columns for various magazines.
She lives with her husband and two children in Berlin.
