Jazz from Germany on the Road

Underkarl

touring Central America's jazz festivals

Concerts
14 to 27 March, 2012
Nicaragua, Honduras, Costa Rica, Mexico

Underkarl exists since 1996. The spectrum of activities pursued by the bassist Sebastian Gramss extends from very individual versions of jazz standards in “20th Century Jazz Cover”, through film and radio play music, to his equally idiosyncratic vision of Bach’s Goldberg Variations.
The outstanding soloists that make up the band include the trombone player Nils Wogram. Since, however, he will be touring South East Asia with his Nostalgia Trio at the same time, Christof Thewes will step in for him in Central America.

Sebastian Gramss (bass)
Lömsch Lehmann (tenor)
Christof Thewes (trombone)
Frank Wingold (guitar)
Dirk Peter Kölsch (drums)
