Born 1967 in Hamburg. Studied Art History at the Ecole du Louvre (1987-89) and the Fine Arts at the Université de Paris VIII (1987-92); afterwards, Stage Design at the Ecole Supérieure d’Art Dramatique du Théatre National de Strasbourg (diploma 1995). Assistant to, among others, Anna Viebrock at the Deutsche Schauspielhaus Hamburg (1995-98). Since 1998, freelance stage designer and regular collaborator of Sandra Strunz and, since 2001, Luk Perceval. Received in 2004 the Friedrich Luft Prize for Andromache (Berlin Schaubühne) and in 2005 the prize for the best international performance at the Festival Internacional in Buenos Aires for Uncle Vanja (both productions directed by Luk Perceval). Lecturer at the Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten in Antwerp and at the Ecole Supérieur des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg. Lives in Hamburg

She was elected stage designer of the year 2013 by the magazine Theatre Today and received the theatre prize"Der Faust" for stage and costume of the Thalia Theatre production "Every Man Dies Alone" directed by Luk Perceval.
