Stages for children‘s and youth theatre in Germany

Theatres and theatre groups producing professional children’s and youth theatre are to be found in almost all of Germany’s cities. The venues presented include both state-run and municipal theatres with a children’s and youth theatre section and independent groups or theatres exclusively staging programmes for children and/or young people. All these theatres and groups are internationally successful and receive regular invitations to take part in major festivals in Germany and abroad.
