Born 1956 in Scharnstein/Upper Austria. This Austrian author studied German, History, and Journalism at Salzburg, and has lived since 1950 at Maria Rain near Klagenfurt. He has been involved in conceptual development and dramatic implementation at many international festivals and landscape theatre projects. He has also produced plays, novels, picture books, and children's books. The play nominated for the 2002 German Children's Theatre Prize was written in 2001. It is available for a premiere production.
