Henrietta Horn

Henrietta Horn was born in 1968 in Berlin and trained from 1987-92 at the Deutsche Sporthochschule in Köln with "Elementary Dance" as her main subject. In 1992 she co-founded the dance group "Terza e Uno", where she was active as a dancer and choreographer and for which she created her first pieces. From 1992 she continued her studies at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen, graduating in dance in 1996. Since then she has worked as a freelance choreographer. In 1999 Henrietta Horn, together with Pina Bausch, took over artistic direction of the Folkwang Tanzstudio in Essen where she premiered her subsequent pieces.
