Christian Spuck studied dance from 1989 to 92 at the John Cranko-Schule in Stuttgart. In 1993 he was a dancer with both the Needcompany and Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker’s company, Rosas, in Brussels. From 1994 to 1996 he was a dancer and assistant for the Marco Santi Danse Ensemble in Stuttgart. From 1995 to 2002 he danced with the Stuttgarter Ballett and performed in numerous works, including those by John Cranko, Uwe Scholz, William Forsythe, Nacho Duato, Mauro Bigonzetti, John Neumeier, Robert North, Marco Santi, Glen Tetley, and Martino Müller. Since 2001, Christian Spuck is the in-house choreographer of the Stuttgarter Ballett.
