Jeremy Wade is an American choreographer and dancer living in Berlin since 2006. He graduated from the School for New Dance Development (SNDO) in Amsterdam in 2000, after which he went back to New York. Aside from the creation of performances, Wade has always been drawn to curating, producing and subsequently hosting ecstatic events such as the queer performance series “Creature Feature” at Basso Studio in Berlin. In January 2009, he curated the Context #6 Festival “Politics of Ecstasy” at the Hebbel am Ufer together with Meg Stuart, Eike Wittrock, and Brendan Dougherty.

In addition, he is a founding member of “Chez Bushwick” - a live/ work loft for the performing arts in industrial Bushwick, Brooklyn. As a result of the physical and theoretical aspects of his work, he has developed workshops on his method of “Articulating Disorientation” and Improvisation. Wade is also the lead singer of the Berlin based band Speller since 2007.
