National Centre for Professional Development in Education, Finland (OPEKO)

OPEKO Finland is a specialist organisation for lifelong learning in the field of education. It offers professional development courses for teachers on behalf of the Finnish Ministry of Education.

The target group of these activities are teachers in the areas of pre-school, primary school, secondary school, professional development and adult education.

OPEKO is involved with the didactisation and trials of the further training programme. As well as recording films at Finnish schools it also produces documentation about outstanding teaching.
