The
Prüfung Wirtschaftsdeutsch International (PWD) examination requires knowledge of the German language at the fifth level of competence (C1) laid down by the
Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Teaching units
In order to achieve this level of competence, you will need 800 to 1,000 45-minute teaching units, depending on your previous knowledge and learning requirements. At least 250 of these should focus on business language.
Preparation
If you think that you meet the language requirements, then you can enrol for an exam at any time. We recommend that you participate in one of our preparatory courses, however. During these courses, you will be taught language and examination-specific skills that will make it as easy as possible for you to pass the exam.
