Journalists’ Exchange Nahaufnahme (Close-Up)

Journalists from Germany and other countries swap their workplaces and residences for two to four weeks. They report on their impressions of the new locale with an outside perspective and journalistic curiosity.

This current round is focussing on four countries of the Arab World, including Morocco, Tunisia and Jordan. Between January and April 2015, eight journalists will travel to cities such as Amman, Berlin, Bonn, Munich, Rabat and Tunis.

Editors from daily newspapers and online news portals will become familiar with the daily journalism routines in their host office; they will research, observe and write about their impressions on location:
