Journalists’ Exchange Nahaufnahme (Close-Up)

Cultural journalists (working in print, online, radio or TV) from Germany and other countries swap their workplaces for three to four weeks. They are familiarized with professional life in their host country and report on their impressions on location. The current round is focusing on the Baltic nations (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) as well as Greece.

The application deadline for the current call for applications for journalists from Germany is 22 July 2016.

    Call for applications
We enable five cultural journalists working in print, online, radio or TV to swap workplaces with a colleague from abroad for three to four weeks.
    About the project
Nahaufnahme was launched in 2008. German newspaper, television, radio and online editors spend three to four weeks each as guests of an editorial office abroad.
From September 2016 you will learn new things about Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Greece and Germany – each from the other’s perspective.
