Journalists’ Exchange Nahaufnahme (Close-Up)

Europa – wie geht’s? – Europe, how’s it going? Twenty journalists from Germany and other European countries swapped their workplaces and residences for two to four weeks. They reported on their impressions of the new locale with an outside perspective and journalistic curiosity.

Between December 2013 and May 2014, eight journalists travelled to Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Lisbon, Marseille and Stuttgart. The previous year, another twelve completed their assignments in Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Hungary and Germany.

One reported about non-existent Slovenian citizens, another wrote a Berlin journal, and yet another interviewed a Belgian filmmaker who plans to launch a TV series about the European Parliament. Read for yourself:
