Before the snow-covered hills, a billboard advertises Coca-Cola, which invented Santa’s red and white garb. But hardly anyone here celebrates Christmas. You knew that? Then answer our Advent question one last time: Where are we?

The last candle has been lit. One last time you can guess the answer and once again there will be post from afar if you answer correctly. Our Advent journey has taken us from Izmir to Salvador-Bahia and last week we were zooming along in the car rapide in Dakar. Did you guess any of them? If not, you have one more chance to speculate: the snow only lies on the mountain, but it still gets bitter cold down here in the city of three to four million inhabitants for it is situated at an elevation of almost 2,000 metres. It’s a pity no one here drinks Glühwein.

Well, what is the final stop of our Advent quiz?

This quiz is already over. The correct answer was Kabul.
