“Finds” from the Goethe-Institut’s 60-Year History – Send Us Your Part of Our History

Photo: Michael Friedel

We are looking for your “finds” from the Goethe-Institut’s 60-year history. What is typical for the Goethe-Institut? Have you collected an item that palpably conveys the history of the Goethe-Institut? Share your best finds with us.

Perhaps you kept a photograph of yourself with Günter Grass as a young man? The admission ticket to a concert by Albert Mangelsdorff in Delhi? A programme preview from the 1960s? Postcards, posters, tickets, seals, stamps or manuscripts…

The best option is to email us a digital photograph and a brief description (max. 3 sentences) of it. If you aren’t technically equipped for this you can also send us the original item. Of course, we will return it to you on request.

The finds will be used to illustrate an anniversary website. Please complete all of the information in the form below, upload the photograph (max. 2 MB) and send it.

If you wish to upload more than one photo, you can do so one at a time, but must complete the form each time.

If you would like to send us your “finds” by post, please send them to:
