Hanoi in Pink
Have you ever been on cloud nine? The couples whose portraits were shown at the Goethe-Institut's exhibition The Pink Choice, certainly were. The photo documentation by the Vietnamese artist Maika Elan takes a look at private moments in homosexual relationships in Hanoi and Saigon. The photographs show the couples in intimate situations without making use of conventional clichés – rosy sights without rose-coloured glasses.
