Calm Amidst the Storm
A brief glance, a gentle touch: everyday gestures in the violence-riddled Occupied Palestinian Territories. The German photographer Malin Schulz sought them out. She spent three years in the West Bank and Gaza Strip and documented life beyond the conflict. In her award-winning exhibition Ramallah/Gaza Beach she presents images of closeness, of calm and even of exuberance. The exhibition is part of the series A Question of Faith by the Goethe-Institut Tel Aviv.
