White Nights
Noise and lights are the dominant sensual impressions of big city nights. While the noise of the streets is nerve-wracking, the artificial light is gentle and warm. That was the opinion of the makers of an installation at the Goethe-Institut Montréal, so without further ado they turned the scenario around completely. This piano transforms penetrating sounds into melodies while the otherwise prettily blinking lights suddenly blind and unsettle the viewer. “Piano/forte” is part of the work of art "Villes LuminoSoniques" at the festival Montréal en Lumière.
