Once Upon a Time ...
... in a land far, far away. Storyteller Haytham Shokry begins this way when heading in the Egyptian Bookmobile to schools and recreational clubs in the Nile delta. Loaded with Arabic children’s and young people’s books, it aims to promote reading where it has little tradition outside of school. Every time, Haytham is welcomed enthusiastically by joyful children.
