Below the Surface

Unclaimed shoes: people are looking for missing family members and not a lost sandal. Or perhaps the owner no longer exists. Many Vietnam cities are repeatedly devastated by floods. The thirty-year-old artist Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai evoked her childhood memories of waiting for the water levels to drop in ”The Vestiges”.
