Watery Wine?

A romantic dinner, not “by” the sea, but “in” the sea? Climate change could make this scenario reality in only a few years. In order to heighten awareness of worldwide climate change, the Goethe-Institut Croatia held a three-day Art Workshop in Dubrovnik. Artists from Greece, Serbia and Bosnia met here with German, Swiss and Croatian climate experts. Together they produced projects, such as the performance Climate War-Ning, in which Josef Hack drew crime scene lines around climate victims, Nenad Roban’s minute of silence for the environment and the project High Tide, in which Tomislac Brajnovic moved dinner into the Adriatic Sea.
