All That Remains is Change
The dancers’ bodies tell a story. They tell of their longings, their despair, their dreams. At the dance workshop Dance Move Urban Space of the Goethe-Institut Addis Ababa, 20 dancers and the German choreographer Helena Waldmann portrayed the interwoven lives of different inhabitants of the city. Intellectuals, the elderly, businesspeople, Bohemians, lovers and the desperate convey an idea of the way people dwell together in the ever changing urban space where the only constant seems to be invariable change.
