Image of Germany with Ladies
Summer holidays on a Baltic Sea beach, German obedience and the inability of German women to cook good pasta: the exhibition l'occhio del cronista (Images of Germany from the pages of the newspaper Corriere della Sera in the years 1960-2000) examines the extent to which stereotypes characterized the Italian view of Germany since the 1960s. Texts, photographs from everyday life and excerpts from television shows humorously challenge the influence of clichés on how Italians perceive Germany. The exhibition will be held at the Goethe-Institut Milan from 30 March until 10 April.
