The Unknown Artist

Thomas Schütte was amazed that nothing came up on a Google search for the title “The Unknown Artist.” He therefore gave the sculpture he created for an exhibition about Robert Walser the name. The Donald Young Gallery in Chicago will be showing works by artists based on Robert Walser’s microgrammes – works produced by the Swiss writer in miniature script – until the end of May.
