Jazzed UpWhat is missing in this photo? A tenor saxophone, for instance, and drums, or even a tuba. Correct; the band is incomplete. And nonetheless, it is obvious that the subject is jazz. It is so obvious you can hear the missing instruments if you are quiet, very quiet. One thing that you do not see in the photo is that it was taken at Dublin’s 12 POINTS jazz festival. The festival recently won the Jazz Network Award for Adventurous Programming in European Music. Congratulations!
