Mirage?
The last great adventure: for instance traversing the desert in a camel caravan. We could drift away, fall asleep – and dream. We, who seesaw through the sand, wear cotton gowns, espy palace ruins on the horizon, or oases, or trees with orange-laden branches. The view flickers – unlike this photo by Jörg Brüggemann from the exhibition Hijacked 2. What could his sleeper be dreaming of? We, though, have already arrived in the shadow of the ruins, at the oasis behind the orange grove.
