Goal!
“Cantiere Barca” is the name of a series of workshops in Barca, a “problem district” of Turin. “Barca” means ship and “cantiere” means shipyard. This shipyard does not produce ships, however, but ideas: What do the young people on location want? Together with architects and artists from the Raumlabor Berlin they designed accessible and useable objects, for example goals for a football pitch. The objects were constructed of “flotsam and jetsam” – wood, found materials and manufacturing waste. Now, the MoMA in New York purchased a blueprint and a project video for its architectural collection.
