Just a Shimmer of Hope
What happens to people who, near the end of their lives, lose their memory, their identity? In Helena Waldmann’s production Get a Revolver, dancer Brit Rodemund describes the slow disintegration of the personality of a dementia patient – how the inner mind lapses, one loses all orientation and no longer understands the world. The dance drama could be seen recently at the 2nd European-Vietnamese Dance Days in Hanoi.
