Kiki Yan Cao was born in 1979 in China. After taking short courses in drawing and design, between 2004 and 2009 she studied for and was awarded a BA and MA in Fashion Design at the Danish College of Design in Copenhagen, where she also completed a five month internship at Baum & Pferdgarten. Her collection is inspired by her home town of Jiang Nan in China.
