The Goethe-Institut Visitors Program organizes informational tours to Germany for guests from around the world.
It gives foreign journalists, politicians, and experts from the fields of education, art and culture an up-to-date and varied picture of Germany through exchange with specialists and personal experience.
The tours take place under the auspices of the Federal Foreign Office or are initiated by the Goethe-Instituts abroad within the framework of the Visitors Program of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Goethe-Institut Visitors Program also acts on behalf of other partners, such as foundations or cultural institutions.
More than 1,000 guests, ranging from Finnish high school seniors, DJs from Indonesia, television teams from Brazil, foreign language experts from Russia and political representatives from Pacific countries, take up this offer each year. Participation is at the invitation of German foreign missions abroad or the Goethe-Instituts.
