© DIE The German Development Institute (DIE) is an internationally recognised, prestigious think tank that deals with questions relating to global development and international development policy. It advises public institutions in Germany and internationally on cooperation between industry and developing countries. The DIE bridges the gap between theory and practice, and emphasises close cooperation with partners throughout the world.

In addition to research and consultation, the DIE is also active in the area of education and training with a post-doctoral programme as well as with the Global Governance School for young administrators and executives from around the world. The DIE employs approximately 100 team members.
