The DGAP's research institute considers itself to be a modern think tank, a consultant, networker, and a driving force for German foreign policy. More than 30 experts conduct research on different regions and on current issues of foreign policy, security policy, and economic policy.
DGAP publishes the magazine Internationale Politik (IP) as well as the English online magazine IP Journal. DGAP’s library and documentation center is one of the most important public libraries for foreign and security policy.
