The Gender Research Group is a part of the Department of Social Sciences of the University of Kiel which researches, situates and publicises new themes in gender and diversity research. Each semester, courses on gender and diversity themes as well as a research colloquium are offered. The Gender Research Group regularly organises international symposia with changing thematic emphases.
