Unlike the various research institutes presented on these pages, these associations of interested academics have neither a research mandate nor regular funding, but are more or less institutionalised associations of young intellectuals.

Free-spirited thoughts
The networks form an important supplement to the established research centres and work with the Goethe-Institut in terms of competent advice and the provision of experts. The list is constantly being expanded and updated.
