KunstraumGoethe

KunstRaumGoethe is an event-series of the Goethe-Institut Cyprus launched in 2020 consisting of exhibitions with contemporary artists and curators, who are connected to Germany and Cyprus in different ways and/or deal with this in their work.

Biographies

Phung-Tien Phan (born 1983 in Essen, Germany) lives and works in Essen. Her sculptures, installations and video works have recently been shown among others at Schiefe Zähne, Berlin (2021); Arcadia Missa, London (2021); Ludwig Forum, Aachen (2021); Dortmunder Kunstverein, Dortmund (2021); Kunstverein Harburger Bahnhof, Hamburg (2020); Campoli Presti, London (2019); Drei, Cologne (2019); Stadtgalerie, Bern (2019).

Marina Xenofontos (born 1988, Limassol, Cyprus) lives and works between Limassol and Paris. She received her MFA from Bard College and was a resident at the Rijksakademie. Her sculptures, installations, paintings, and video works have recently been shown among others at Ermes Ermes, Rome (2021); gb agency, Paris (2021); DESTE Foundation, Athens (2021); Mediterranea 19 Young Artists Biennale 19, San Marino (2021); The Island Club, Limassol (2021); Hot Wheels, Athens (2020); NiMAC, Nicosia (2019); Cyprus Pavilion at Biennale Arte, Venice (2017).

Lorenzo Graf (born 1995, Grosseto, Italy) lives in Frankfurt am Main where he works as a freelance exhibition maker and studies Curatorial Studies at the Goethe-Universität and Städelschule. He has worked at the Museum MMK für Moderne Kunst in Frankfurt, the Frankfurter Kunstverein and the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich. He is currently curating an exhibition trilogy for the MEWO Kunsthalle in Memmingen.
