What’s a library to you?

Library is more than book collections or community centers, I believe that today we can discuss new role of library – role of navigator through the ocean of information, among real places with shelves and books, and digital spaces, with websites and mobile services.

What’s the single most essential thing you need in your everyday work?

Cannot live without combination of teamwork tools and agile system: it makes work process comfortable and transparent. Our team is not so big, so we use Trello, and collect all the data including documents and pics right in different cards. It is very convenient.

What was the most memorable experience you ever had in a library?

Two years ago, they invited me to take a position of a Library Director, and that was a huge step for me, because I had to move to a new city, to Moscow. It was stressful, but I had a wonderful experience. I love every single day from that short year of being director.
