Kronberg Grand Prix Emanuel Feuermann

The Grand Prix was first awarded in 2002 to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Emanuel Feuermann. Since then the Kronberg Academy, together with the Universität der Künste Berlin, has held the Grand Prix Emanuel Feuermann every four years in Berlin in alternation with the quadrennial International Pablo Casals Cello Competition. The Grand Prix competition is under the patronage of Daniel Barenboim.
