The Alice Boner International Residency at Varanasi offers the opportunity to live and work at the Alice Boner Institute (ABI) for eight weeks, to incubate ongoing research or undertake new artwork/or project whilst connecting with the local art and culture scene.
Proposals for art or research projects from fields including, visual arts, literature, performing arts, design, cultural heritage, urbanism, and cultural theory are welcome. The project should be relevant within the Indian and international contexts, be clear, realistic, and well-planned. This call for proposals is directed at individuals for whom the engagement with India is central to their creative work, academic research or planned projects.
