Key figures from seven South American countries came together within the scope of the Museum Education project for local meetings, lesson observations and training courses in the region.
Specialists in museum education from Peru, Chile, Columbia, Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay and Ecuador took advantage of opportunities to broaden their professional horizons by observing lessons and visiting each other between 2011 and 2013. They organised local meet-ups in the individual participating countries, with one main goal being to involve the less densely populated central area of the countries. There were also training courses in the region with input by experts from other Latin-American countries.
