Blues Skies for a Blue Book
Something to read for the summerfest: the Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin was the meeting place for politicians, cultural professionals, artists and ambassadors. The guests included Ulla Schmidt and Michelle Müntefering, and were welcomed by the Goethe-Institut’s president Klaus-Dieter Lehmann and secretary-general Johannes Ebert. They were pleased about the Annual Report that came hot off the presses, offering a look back at last year’s work in the fields of language, the arts and Germany. Guests were given the reports in orange burlap bags to take home. The annual report will also soon be available online, not in a bag, but only a click away.
