Grandmother, mother and filmmaking granddaughter in a seemingly still intact flat in Damascus. The days roll by, coffee is drunk, cigarettes are smoked, soap operas and status reports appear on the television. Within the small confines of their flat, the director lets us observe two women who have become trapped by war and the hopeless situation in their country.
