Are today’s huge flight and migration movements towards and within Europe really as extraordinary as they appear in view of the acute organisational, social and political challenges? How do they fit into the history of flight and migration in Europe?
 
Panel members are Beate Grzeski (Berlin), head of the coordination unit for flight and migration at the Foreign Office, Jochen Oltmer (Osnabrück), Professor of Modern History and member of the board at the Institute of Migration Research and Intercultural Studies (IMIS), and Carl Henrik Fredriksson (Austria / Sweden), essayist, journalist and co-founder of the European cultural magazine EUROZINE; chaired by: Ulrich Ladurner (Germany / Italy) journalist, DIE ZEIT.
