"Does autonomous art have a political relevance?"
The autonomy of art is the prerequisite needed if resistance and criticism are to be possible. Film-maker Jeanine Meerapfel and composers Mathias Spahlinger and Manos Tsangaris discuss the strategies and positions of art in relation to political attitude and social change. The concert hall, theatre exhibition gallery or cinema as a space for constructing one’s own reality through which existing social and political relationships are deconstructed.
