Boris Eldagsen is an internationally exhibiting photo artist, as well as a freelance strategist for digital marketing and ad agencies, such as Saatchi & Saatchi, McCann, R/GA, Publicis. In this role, he produced worldwide social media guidelines for Audi and worked as a digital campaign manager for BMW/Mini.
Berlin-based artist Boris Eldagsen was born in Pirmasens, Germany in 1970. He studied visual arts at the Academies of Art in Mainz and Prague; the Sarojini Naidu School in Hyderabad, India and philosophy at the Universities of Cologne and Mainz. In 2013 he participated in a Roger Ballen Masterclass, was awarded the Prix Voies Off, Arles and became a member of Deutsche Fotografische Akademie.
Eldagsen has lectured at Akademie für Bildende Künste, Mainz; Hochschule Furtwangen; Fotografie Forum Frankfurt; Westlicht Wien; New Media Scotland and the following institutions in Melbourne, Australia: Centre for Contemporary Photography, Photography Studies College, RMIT University, Monash University, and the Victorian College of the Arts.
