Up to date information: COVID-19

In light of the current situation, we are following the instructions of the local authorities and doing our part in slowing the spread of the coronavirus.
Our institutes in Abu Dhabi and Dubai have partially reopened but continue to offer most of their services online as well. Goethe-Institut Muscat remains closed to the public until further notice. Its staff will provide its service to customers exclusively online.

Dear students and exam participants, dear customers and friends, we would like to thank you for your patience in the current situation. Below please find some important information on our language courses and examinations.

Our staff are working from home but can be reached from Sunday to Thursday between 09:00 am and 02:00 pm via phone and also via email. Office hours beyond these timings vary at each institute; you can find the timings here:

German Courses #stayathome

The governments of the UAE and Oman have halted in-person courses. Goethe-Institut Gulf Region with its institutes in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Muscat is following these instructions.
Our courses have been shifted to online formats with immediate effect.

German Examinations

The institutes in Abu Dhabi and Dubai have been permitted to resume examinations from 27 May onwards and the institute in Muscat from 13 August onwards. Everyone who has registered for an exam will be personally informed of the new examination date. Please ensure to follow the updated examination guidelines communicated to you by our language course offices.
