ESTABLISHMENT OF GERMAN CLASSROOM" in ART INSTITUTE & USMAN WARIS SCHOOL (2017)

Goethe-Institute Afghanistan tries to support ministry of education of Afghanistan on the fields such as (Capacity Building and improvement of teaching quality in Afghan schools) under the title of AKBP (foreign culture politics and educational policy).
The great examples are the "German classrooms „in the art institute and Usman Waris School in Kabul, within the scope of the cooperation „PASCH-PARTNERS OF THE FUTURE “between Goethe-Institute Afghanistan and the ministry of education of Afghanistan.
Mr. Rahil Mohammad Formuly (Deputy Minister of education) inaugurated the classrooms and has thanked in the name of the ministry of education for engagement of Goethe-Institute in Afghanistan He underlined the role of Goethe-Institute Afghanistan and PASCH project as very important.

What started as a regional idea in Africa has quickly aroused enthusiasm in other regions of the world, which is why we can now look back on a unique cooperation project.
Now Students from Afghanistan, Iran, Korea, Croatia and Pakistan are blogging. Maybe even students from Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo join the blog!

initiative "Schools: Partners for the Future"


As member of the initiative "Schools: Partners for the Future" signed on 07/06/2016 the Director of the Goethe-Institut Afghanistan, Mr. Ibrahim Hotak, and Deputy Minister of Education, Mr. Rahil Mohammad Formuly, in Kabul, a Memorandum of Understanding for extending the cooperation between the Ministry of Education of Afghanistan and Goethe - Institute Afghanistan.
With this act the activities of the partner school initiative for Afghanistan were placed on a stable institutional foundation again.
 
In addition, the Goethe-Institut Afghanistan supports the partner schools with specific measures:
 
• In a multi-year training series teachers get new teaching and learning methods taught to raise the quality of teaching German.
 
• Offering an intensive German course in winter for the topers with purpose of improving their language skills at levels A2-B1.

Generally  increased the interest and the number of the German learners in schools and the trend towards it is still rising.
